Hands On Smart Services started as an engineering company — designing systems for vessels, machinery and demanding environments. That is how we approach every job: find the root cause, size the system to the boat, and integrate it properly with the power you have aboard.
- System design & sizing. A/C and refrigeration matched to the vessel, not the catalogue.
- Onboard power integration. DC, lithium and solar setups that run cooling without overloading the boat.
- Retrofits & custom solutions. When the standard part doesn’t fit, we engineer the one that does.

Which marinas do you cover?
Marinas across Broward County and Palm Beach County — including Las Olas Marina, Bahia Mar, Pier Sixty-Six Marina, Lauderdale Marine Center, Hall of Fame Marina and more, from Dania Beach up to West Palm Beach. Send us your slip and we’ll confirm.
What vessel sizes do you work on?
We routinely work on vessels from 30–120 ft — sportfish, express cruisers and motor yachts. Outside that range, call us; we’ll tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit.
Do you handle chilled-water and direct-expansion systems?
Yes — chilled water and DX air conditioning, plus marine refrigeration and ice makers. One team for the whole cooling side of the vessel.
Can you design something custom?
Yes. Engineering is where we started: system sizing, onboard DC and lithium integration, retrofits into tight spaces and custom solutions. Tell us what you need and we’ll scope it.
Do you sell the equipment too?
Equipment and parts are sold through our sister store, HOSS AC (hossac.com) — Vitrifrigo, Mabru and genuine spare parts. We install what you buy there.
What certifications do you hold?
EPA 608 Certified · Insured, operating as Hands On Smart Services LLC. EPA 608 is the federal certification required to handle refrigerants.
